By creating an account or using any part of the RestAPI.com platform (“the Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. The Service

RestAPI.com offers a Backend-as-a-Service platform for constructing, hosting, and managing APIs. The offering encompasses data storage, authentication, serverless functions, and the developer portal. Specific features and usage limits depend on your subscription tier.

3. Accounts

• Accurate information is required during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

The platform prohibits using the Service to: violate laws or regulations; infringe intellectual property rights; distribute malware or harmful code; attempt unauthorized access to accounts or infrastructure; or send unsolicited bulk communications or spam.

5. Your Data

Users retain all rights to uploaded or stored data. We do not sell your data and do not use it to train third-party models.

6. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis. Users can modify their tier anytime. Refunds are evaluated individually. Non-payment may suspend APIs.

7. Termination

Users may cancel anytime. The company may suspend accounts violating these Terms or creating security risks. Users can export data for a reasonable timeframe post-termination.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

The company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or lost profits.

10. Changes

Terms may be updated periodically. Significant modifications receive notification. Continued use indicates acceptance of revisions.
